Dominic Elvin was born is East London, and works in futuristic art and design. Most of his life he has been interested in the future, at the age of thirteen he de constructed an old cassette player and turned the device into a robotic head. Often in his work he recycles old hardware/ devices and reconfigures them into futuristic sculptures.
Below are some features that his work holds:-
- wires coming out of parts of the body, wires are quite dominant in the second
- grey tones used in the sculptures
- human features seem to be taken over the technical devices
- The sculptures are rather freaky by the way they look like humans so much but don't at all functions like humans
